Colourful noir

Niagara (1953) Is another noir film but not so in the real sense as it is done in colour. To justify the use of colour, they highlighted the various dresses and the undressed form of America's favourite sex symbol, Marilyn Monroe. And of course, there is the picturesque full glory of the misty and rainbow filled Niagara Falls. Marilyn Monroe takes the role of a conniving femme fatale wife who destroyed the life of her slightly older husband (Joseph Cotten, who had been seen in many Hitchcock and Wells' movies) to the brink of insanity. A honeymooning couple (Mr and Mrs Cutler) lands in Niagara Falls just to find that the room that they booked is occupied by Mr and Mrs Loomis. Mr Loomis, who is apparently unwell, discharged from a mental hospital, was resting. Hence the Cutlers took another room instead. Don't Bother to Knock (1952) After 17 attempts at stardom, Marilyn Monroe finally got a breakthrough this 1h37m thriller film. Here she plays the role of a babysitter from hell who has issues with depression after her pilot boyfriend dies. Her acting proved to Hollywood that she is not just a bimbo, but one who could act. Sadly, we later discover that she was fighting these same problems in her personal life. The movie is set in a hotel in New York where a pilot (Jed) is trying to reconcile with his bar singer girlfriend (Lyn). She wants to end their relationship after finding out that he is actually not so caring. In the same hotel, Mr and Mrs Jones who is to attend Mr Jones' celebratory dinner, receive Nel (Marilyn Monroe), a babysitter. The elevator man, Eddie, her uncle, is trying to get a new start for Nel, a country girl. The courteous, soft-spoken Nel gets on her business. She is impressed with the lavish lifestyle of the Jones. She dons Mrs Jones attire and perfu...

FINISHING TOUCHES.  AMAZING ATTENTION TO DETAILS, AND REALISTIC FLESH TONES APPLYING THE FINISHING TOUCHES.  WONDERING HOW THE STATUE IS ABLE TO STAND ON ITS OWN WITHOUT SUPPORT?  BRIDE AND BRIDESMAIDS, FIND SHADE UNDER THE STATUE  STANDING IN THE MIDST OF CHICAGO SKYLINE WOULD HAVE MADE MARILYN VERY PROUD INDEED .  WHAT A FITTING TRIBUTE TO MARILYN IN THE WINDY CITY OF CHICAGO!  EVEN THE YOUTH ARE CURIOUS.
